to begin with og should not be a bad idea.....you can always keep on adding prep material and courses thereafter

Hi Guys,


I've decided to give the GMAT in the last week of October.
I've already got the Official Guide and hope to finish practice from that within a month's time.
I've used Kaplan in the past and was disappointed with the number of practice questions.

Can anyone reccomend any other good books after the official guide, with some really tough questions, both verbal and quant, so I get enough practice to get a 760 .

Also, would love to meet people so I can exchange tips for studying, especially for the new IR section.

Hi All. I am fro Hyderabad. Have been preparing for CAT'12 & also want to prepare for GMAT. pls suggest if i engage classes with either Princeton or Kaplan will help me score good in GMAT?? Or you would suggest any other coaching centre? Whose material is the best - Princeton or Kaplan??

I have given GMAT prep mock tests. Scoring 610-640. . Scoring 45-48 in QA but verbal is troubling me. I have solved the OG. Need to restart the verbal prep. Any suggestions?

@Medvik start with the OG first... then based on your performance there identify your weak and strong areas... and then start with manhattan or kaplan.... in the end go to kaplan 800 when you are done with every thing else :)
