1. All the CMAT Applicants will be getting a mail from GIM asking for your Roll Number.

2. You have to reply to the same mail with your CMAT Roll NO. For more information, wait for the mail.

3. The mail may be expected in a day or two.

4. Will update if there is any further communication. Stay tuned to this thread.

2. If everything goes fine, it may come before also and most likely by the end of next week.

3. CMAT Shortlist for GD/PI is expected again by next week.

4. GD/PI Dates for CMAT is expected to be in the 1st week of April (Tentative).

I know its really difficult to predict anything now. But still would like your insights on my chances if any for a call.

u hv a decent profile...
bt gdpi calls are purely score/rank based...
acc. to some institutes.. cut off should be around 350(rank)
bt this is the first time cmat scores are being considered.. so nothing can be predicted with accuracy..

Not that i am expert or anything, i dont think these cutoff predictions are correct :nono:, we have no idea how many people actually applied to GIM using CMAT. So keep your fingers crossed :). Lets hope for the best.

350 rank cutoff has been predicted by CETKing i guess! but it wud go a bit higher i think! as many havnt registrd for GIM as the dates were closed evn be4 the CMAT registration dates! and also othr insti hav only 10% seats + CAT n CET scores also come into picture! Also, thr mst be ppl amngst the toppers who hav alrdy got calls thru XAT! the no of seats fr CMAT studnts havnt been disclosed by GIM! hoping that it shld atlst be arnd 30-40, i think ppl with lower ranks can expct calls! evn i dnt thnk i'll expct a call at 1278 bt still keeping my fingrs crossd! hoping fr a miracle!

I am in the top 500....my AIR is 240....and i have given GE/PI thru XAT...bt didnt apply thru CMAT ....ny chances that i can still apply???

2. It will depend on the quality and performance of the applicants.

The Cut off Score/Rank through CMAT is totally unpredictable. Don't go by what is being predicted by coaching institutes.

Through XAT, it was predictable to an extent. But since CMAT is being taken for the first time, no one has an idea.


Factors that might be responsible for the cut offs :

1. Number of applicants through CMAT.

2. Their Score/Rank in CMAT.

3. Number of people who already got calls through XAT.

4. Upto what rank/score does GIM think that the applicant has a quality.

These are all my views. It has nothing to do with the college. It was just to give an idea.
