I just now called GIM and talked to Jenifer Mam....she said that the results are expected to be out by ending march....

CMAT results to be declared day after tomorrow. So wat may be the cutoff and when can we expect the shortlist for GIM, through CMAT??
I was unable 2 made it through XAT 
Ever Since the GIMs GD/PI ended, the thread has become so slow...
I used to check it like 50 times a day.... suddenly feels like.. have nothing to do..
Seeing the trends, i found it takes some 3 weeks for results. Hope it is the same this year...

We don't know of the cut offs and we cannot predict also. CMAT is being held for the 1st time.
So it is better if we wait for the shortlist to come. Most likely, it should come in a week's time after the Results.

We also hope the results are announced soon. Because few of you might have started getting converts at some of the colleges and must be confused whether to pay the fee or not...

1. Results are expected to be out in April.
2. But if everything works fine i,e CMAT process ends in time, we may expect it by March End.
3. There are lots of factors which come into play for the final convert. Your profile seems to be decent with good marks. So you do have good chances. All the best.

last year i heard it was 40 goans .

1. As already told by a fellow puy, number of seats are not fixed for Goans.
2. Goans only get an advantage of lower cut offs.
3. After that, it is purely based on merit. All the best for the results.

1. You have a decent academic record.
2. If you have done good at gd/pi, you stand a sure shot chance of convert. All the best.

Apart from this, read newspaper (ET if possible), magazines, etc on a regular basis.
If you will browse through this entire GIM GD/PI Thread, you will find some useful posts like topics which came for GIM in 2011, 2010, etc..
Get back for any further query.
For all those who are done with GD/PI through XAT :
1. I know most of you have done well in the GD/PI. Few might have been unfortunate as well. But then there are many parameters on which the final selection is made. So don't read much into your performance and wait for the results now.
2. As already told, management will do it's best to give results as early as possible. We hope that the results are out by the end of this month.
3. But what do you do next? This is the most anxious times that one can experience. Waiting for the results, checking the websites, pg threads, etc. And the anaxiety will keep on increasing. So it is better to chill and not think much about the results. Go and watch movies, have fun at office or else have a good time :drinking:
4. If you think you should utilise this time, then there are many ways you can do so. And i think this is the best time that you should use for inculcating some knowledge that adds something to your CV, Profile before you join a B-School.
5. Certifications : There are some certifications that you can do. It will def give you an edge once you join a B School. e.g, If you want to do Majors in Finance, you can go for NSE Certifications.

i have a xat %ile of 70...i answered my gd pi in goa..had a very good gd and an awesome pi.
i really felt good the way i answered and got a very good response from the panel..
my acads are pretty ok
