GIM GD/PI Discussions 2012-2014

Hi Avinash,
Please let me know - to how many students GIM use to give call for gdpi. there are 240 seats in GIM, in what ratio they are calling.

This year, GIM has given approx. 1600 calls for 240 seats. So that means around 1 in every 6 or 7 people gets through.

I request all those who havn't received the mail yet in their primary e-mail address, please check for mail in alternate e-mail address you might have furnished while filling up the form...the same was the case with me..somehow checked in alternate e-mail address and found the call letter...hope this helps..

It depends on how you justify it during your personal interview. But chances are very less.

NMAT- Scored 206- Cut off went 208
IIFT- Scored 43 marks- Cut off no one knows (but I know people getting call at 37)
SNAP- Scored 83 marks- SCMHRD cut off- 85
XAT- Scored 74.93- GIM cut off- 77 :shock:

I mean.... really??? On top of that, I don't drink...so can't flush my frustration out by drinking. Ghar se calls aa rahe hai...beta GIM ka kya hua? Kya bolu...isme bhi 2%ile se reh gaya mom???:splat:

Bhai mat bolna ki 2%ile se reh gya.
Last year mere sath bi kaafi kuch aesa hua tha. End mein ghar walon ne wishwaas karna chhod dia. haha.

Dont lose heart. There are better things in life waiting for you.

If not this year, come back harder next year.

Just have faith in yourself and you can do anything you want. This is not the end of life.

There are many people who were in your shoes. But they worked harder and achieved even better.

You scored this much. That implies you do have potential. Just that luck was not with you.

1. Xth, XIIth, Graduation Certificates

2. Xth, XIIth, Graduation Marksheets

3. Recent Photo Identity Card

4. Print out of the call letter

5. PEN

6. Proof of any information you filled in the form

7. Proof of Govt Recg Achievement, if any

~~~~~ To be continued, but these are must. Will tell more which are reqd.

Do we have to also carve out a special CV/Biodata, in which all the above points i.e. 10th, 12th, Grad marks, Special achievements, 'About Me' section are mentioned?

It is not compulsory to make a CV/Biodata. But it won't be harmful if you make one and bring it along.
