But i hvnt any mail from GIM .

XAT:-76.50 %ile.......

CAn u pls confirm??????

Even we don't the exact cut off as of now.

But it is near to 76.72 which is the least %ile posted till now for Non Goans.

Wait for the log in to be updated on website and then you all can view the results. It is in the process of being put up by IT People.

If you are selected, it's upto u, what u want to take as major and minor in second year.. nobody will stop you from taking any electives........
Regarding Finance @GIM-- we already have students completed CFA level-1 in current batch and many seniors in the second year... this can answer your question regarding the students acumen in FIN @GIM :-)

Write up is an important consideration. Writing skills are checked through this. If some one is very poor in it, there may be problems. So do have some practise.

I am once again posting the topics related to current affairs :

Finish reading about all these topics first :

3. Kapil Sibal's move to put censorship effective in Internet

I have a query.

Am in my final year of engg. and side by side I work as an Indian football correspondent with the world's biggest football website.

Its a full 6-8 hrs shift of site mgmt apart from editorial work and I travel across the country covering matches. Inshort a permanent job.


My question is, does this count as job experience? Because a lot of people tell me it wont be considered since I am studying side-by-side. 😐 Been doing this since a year.

Only full time work ex will be considered.

But you can always mention about this in your interview. You may get the edge and a good impression.

GD :

First all the applicants have to make an opening statement.

Then it will be open to all.

Then all have to conclude.


WRITE UP : Then you need to write on the same topic. There will be a time limit for this.


This is what was done last year and then followed by Interview.
