IIML experience -
written was a 2 hour case study. very easy based on social media. no impact of written on interviews filtering. all candidates had interview. panel included 4-5 prof for all area specific interview. Ques were more on general note - why FPM, technical questions in marketing / finance and IT based on work experience and profile. Example - IT - ques on background and b tech subjects , marketing - on research proposal + market research + Stats. Finance - ques from research proposal only. Not in very details, but at least general awareness which is expected from the candidate. out of 4/5 prof, one took stress approach, oppose what ever you say, that was nice to handle, though other prof will support. they were friendly and encouraging to reach the correct answer, checked the thought process. overall nice experience, campus was amazing and stay at guesthouse - AC / LCD / Dish tv and very good food etc :-)

IIMB FPM result will be out latest by this Monday (15th Apr), individual mails will be sent which might happen before Monday. All the best to those who appeared in interview 😃

I got rejection in two successive years(2010,2011) from A,C,L .But still trying!!\do not lose heart!!

Not in receipt of any mail. Looks like rejection. Just out of curiosity , who got thru in finance ?
When is the last date for accepting IIMB offer and what is the payment required?
any idea about total offers (possibly area wise) by IIMB? Specially for marketing.
rejection from IIMb in marketing, from IIMA in CISG n marketing. IIML is the last hope now. The FPM is not easy. In all three IIMs , i met with the IIM pass outs going for FPM, which gives them a big advantage compared to non IIM / IIT. yes, some IIT + IIM combo was there with some amazing profiles. Since the offers are still very few, its a disadvantage for many of non IIx guys! Was expecting a call from IIMB based on interview, however after rejection my guess is that i failed to convince them about 5 year sustainability without my salary 😃
