@vedneha1988 I may not be able to give you first hand info But I think the whole purpose of an FPM is to get into academics.

mainly academics and research.. you will begin as an assistant professor at a b-school and subsequently become an associate professor and eventually a professor.. some also choose to join the industry (also in research roles in the industry)

@vedneha1988 i think the iim ranchi deadline was feb 15.. not sure if they have extended the deadline.. iims shillong and raipur are probably still accepting applications.. please go to the websites of the schools and double check the deadline so you don't miss out any

there is no need to mention any specific research topic in the forms.. just a broad area of interest would be sufficient
