Football Club -- Part Deux

AFAIK .. Iturbe is already being signed by Porto.

Maradona himself talked about Aguero (His son in law) that he foresees Kun to play for RM. He must be joining RM, now need to see whether AM will sell them to their city rivals or not. Otherwise Chelsea is heavily interested in this guy. So Kun coming to OT is improbable, IMO.

Neymar is going either to Chelsea or to some Spanish club which may be Barca. He already mentioned that he would love to play along side Messi.

And at the same time.. I don't know, but I feel Patrice evra is not going to leave OT because RM is his only destination and RM has much skillful Marcelo in his place. RM might not require his service or he might become a bench warmer there.

ehh....
are you serious?
Evra>>>Marcelo(both,in terms of attacking and defensively+experience)
Evra(along with ashley cole) is the best LB in BPL.
so,if at all he goes to RM he WILL start regularly.

Evra is more experienced and more solid as a left back but Marcelo has improved leaps and bounds under Mourinho and as someone said is a lot more skillful. Moreover Marcelo has a lot of good years ahead of him unlike Evra.

Considering Real Madrid's present policy to invest only in young players I dont think they will bid for Evra. Marcelo has room for a lot of improvement but he is on his way to become another Dani Alves.( A Dani Alves who doesn't playact )

yes,he has improved.but to keep evra on the bench is a big ask for him as he is defensively weak.
and i do hope no one from BPL goes to RM or barca.these 2 teams are hogging all the talent and wasting it by making them warm the bench.

Barca doesn't waste a big talent putting in Bench for long. They provide enough opportunities. Consider Mach or Afellay.

@nayas, Marcelo doesn't act but dives really well ( La Liga Return leg ??). But he is really Gem given his pace and trickery. I agree under Mou he has improved leaps and bounds.

Alves got a part of ball and Marcelo both and hence Marcelo didn't dive. If that was a dive Alves jumped on Pepe's challenge.

Agreed that players like Messi dont dive but cant say the same about Busquets, Alves , Pedro as evident from El Classico. I was out of context here

Nayas, I accept that they acted and let me tell you no hardcore Barca fan liked it. Even they critisized Busquets and Pedro like anything !!

At the same time I have a simple question - why were some RM players more interested in Boxing, Kick-boxing, Leg clipping, Sandwitching, Stamping? Did you see, that Lass and Carvalho finished CL leg2 game with Referee's concession, forget about Adebayor (His role is fighting, what a shot it was on Pique's hand)?
I have been following Madrid's game since Zidane's time and I watched Lass also from his beginning days at RM. I don't recollect Madrid playing like this or Lass doing all those things. Even I can't remember PEPE doing all those "Hard Tackles" all through his career. Ramos was rash, but did you ever imagine that he will slap on his WC winning captain and Xavi's face after loosing just one game?
You know where these all things come from. And do you call these tactics?

Sorry but really RM is not playing football.

About Barca, they are never physical, so when an opponent plays like this, what shall they do? Let the opponents come and thrash them?

About the second leg in CL to be fair Madrid's goal and Carvalho send off were both decisions which should have happened.

Secondly yes Madrid resorted to a more physical style playing with Barca but if you watch BPL then this is very common. In La liga there are no broken legs usually but such things happen very frequently in BPL. Yes its new as Mourinho wanted to get the result for this tie and it didnt matter to him what process he followed. Barca are playing for a long time together and if Madrid followed the same approach that Barca followed , it could have been another embarrassment to Madrid fans.

How Madrid played was a process gone wrong but nothing opposed to rules.
What Barcelona did was unethical and against the spirit of the game.

Both the things are probably not good at the end of the day but sadly there are rules against bad tackles but very few against unethical approaches in football.

i just wish one thing this summer season:
spurs should throw gomez out is what i think. am not a spurs fan but to see a great team being hassled by their own last wall is too much.

Pretty good time actually Everyone else has long got bored of insulting and making fun of us gooners Now an arsenal loss is just another week :lookround::lookround:

Well Gunners get thumped 3-1 at stoke .. well just another thumping in a long list starting feb :drinking::drinking:

Robin Van Persie hope for the sake of this guy he moves to another club. He is sheer class scored in 8-9 consecutive away games a premier league recond!! 17 goals in the Premier league since Jan 1. Amazing:cheerio:

Anytime is a good time to intro yourself. Pretty bad times for yours and ours. Arsenal used to be my 2nd team but after they crashed all 4 cups in 11 days(08-09 maybe), I stopped supporting them.
Still you have got a good team and all you need is a change of mindset or wholesale change of personnel.
BTW RVP is on fire
