Football Club -- Part Deux

i would say the commentator got it right
"wenger needs to buy defenders that can defend; win headers; and play at this level"
"going... going... gone..."

Now wenger cannot say that chelsea was wrong in claiming to be the only threat to MANU

really...we have lost the title mainly coz of defenders this season..

Guyzz u maust have read todays very cheeky tranfser rumour

About Man Utd looking after to get Samir Nasri from Arsenal with his contract negotiations stalled up n current 1 ending up in 2012.. so he could come cheap..!!

Red Devil fans n Gunners fans comments over this will be appreciated that hw do u see it happening or not etc..:

As far as IMO hes Barca bound in future..:thumbsup: but thats just me..!! Like Nani he will jump the ship from Arsenal too...

manu's official site is more interested in rumours over schnider coming to OT

about nasri, it is true that his contract is still not rewritten and this one ends with next year - he ought to come cheap, but SAF might not go after him.

Also, if wenger remains in post, i doubt he would sell anybody or for that matter even buy anybody.

We do need scholes replacement, but ronaldo has a higher chance of coming back than nasri transferring over

i feel that he wont leave Arsenal in coming days at all.....he gives us a feel that he is a real Gunner and he is commited to Arsenal....

1 of my freind said maybe after SAF called RM a Virus he only agreed to CR7's dream after agreeing wid him to come back to Man Utd on a Bosman transfer after his RM contract runs out...!! LOLzzzz

as far as Nasri i dnt see him as a committed Gunner n he will definitely leave in 2-3 seasons... I feel maybe hes delaying his contract negotiations to knw whether Fabregas stays beyond this season at Arsenal or not apart from wage demands.. just my opinion..!!

the first one, i will stand corrected if ronaldo actully comes back

the second one - i totally agree with nasri keeping mum due to fabregas' eternal transfer move speculation to barca

nasri might be followed by RVP showing reluctance in staying too

also, about our blue threats, i do not see drogba being happy with recent positions and squads of the team, what say chelsea guys?

Arsenal needs more of a manager change than players..he is so stubborn with his tactics and formation, its really not helping the team...its been six season of promise and no deliverance...its has great potential but lack of experience..if they don't get a very good GK and two big CB..they can kiss the title good bye then too..!

I don't think Drogba is happy at all...Firstly since Expenso torres came he is not a regular starter , I don't know how Anelka finds a place ahead of himm...whenever he plays alongside Torres i don't know why both play such selfish game....I see all the signs of him leaving the club soon....and god, i can't imagine chelsea without drogba....All the 3 seasons chelsea won were when he was firing...This season Ancelloti is all to blame for.....I mean,, how come u treat a man like Drogba this way......Most of the times he is substituted at half time..........Really disheartenin 4 a Drogba fan like me

Same ole Arsenal......and I sadly for Arsenal fans I don't see the pattern ending.....

PRESEASON:Transfer rumors everywhere with some big player or the other wanting to leave...anyways they convince him to stay.....Arsene still doens't buy the players he need but goes on to buy players in positions where he already has substantial cover....they win all their pre-season friendlies and the bullishness is back....

JULY-AUGUST:

Season starts off with the usual bullishness with Arsene telling everyone how his Youth team is finally ready to challenge on all fronts.......they prove it by thrashing a few relegation contenders and also some 3rd division club in the League cup as well as some big wins in the UCL group stage..

OCTOBER-NOVEMBER
:
The bullishness continues as they play the greatest football ever seen and beat some more teams....although still continuing to bottle it against the big teams...though some skeptics they win over most of their fans....FINALLY ITS THEIR YEAR.......

DECEMBER-FEBRUARY
:As fixture list piles up Wenger starts to moan about how the whole world is against his team......they start bottling it and in no time they are out of the League Cup,FA Cup and the UCL....they are a couple of points behind the league leaders though......the bullishness comes down a couple of levels but it still exists...they will win the league.....:lookround::lookround:

FEBRUARY-APRIL
:Out of all cups they finally begin to falter in the league and are boooed by their own fans.....Wenger loses it.:drinking::drinking::drinking::drinking:...blames everyone except his own players....conspiracy theories come out......captain wants to go to a bigger club...but still the season closes on some high with them beating some teams in dead rubber matches....

Gunners n Gooners i said it long time ago u will lose 1 out of Spurs n Bolton game for sure.. on the contraray u drew 1 n lost 1..
Before criticising Wenger n ur team let me tell u dey both were very tricky n tough fixtures..
Playing Spurs at WHL is no joke n Reebok has been a very difficult place to travel for any side over the years..

Drogba will defnitely leave as per him lemmi tell u in 1st half he was very incosistent after his Hernia operation n btw Torres has been forced on to Carlo by Roman just like Shevchenko case..

Incosistency of players like Malouda etc and mysterious injury to Terry and Co. have costed them..

Carlo Ancelloti is also a big culprit bcz he always comes out saying he dreams of managing Roma n never clears the air abt his future which is nt gonna help wid the players and their form..

So its Manutd and Chelsea in the title race now. Chelsea have come out of nowwhere back to the title race. I think Chelsea winning the title depends on Arsenal beating Manu in the corresponding fixture. The only good Arsenal can do for their reputation is defeat Manu or atleast draw the match. I think that now since Arsenal do not have the pressure to win games they might play a little better.

Honestly speaking this 2010-11 EPL season has been in reality been

Jack Wilshere n
Javier Hernandez season

Stand out new players this season for me

They have come up as future world class stars for their respective clubs

Jack Wilshere :cheerio::cheerio:
Younger version of Scholes who can play attacking CM n as holding CM too.. A Scholes who can tackle really well.. Restless tackles has always been Scholes weakness in the game.. for me he is the British born new future Scholesy but sadly in an Arsenal shirt.. he is young world class player and will be even more world class in a cple of seasons even better than Fabregas.. though i feel he already is..

Javier Hernandez "Little Pea"
Chicarito go chicarito go..!! thats wat u hear at OT nw.. True Goal Poacher
Pple compare him with United legend Ole Gunner Solksjaer also hailed as super sub i think he is a combo of Michael Owen + Solksjaer.. he has same impact coming on as a sub as Solksjaer but he is true goal poacher alike Owen in his haydays.. he may nt be tall but his heading capabilities n timing are superb.. Hard worker n modest nature makes him a great World class player for future..

P.S. City n Chelsea should learn its not always hefty spending power that brings talent but an eye for talent as Wenger n SAF has.. WE make legends n world class players from unknown modest players.. because
WE ARE MANCHESTER UNITED..!!

Another season comes, another goes, and Arsenals new trophy cabinet remains unfilled. But there are somethings that make me optimistic

1. JACK WILSHERE... dont want to rave bout his awesome talent etc etc...
2. We were much better than what we were last season. Though it was the Carling cup we still were one match away from winning a cup.
3. Man utd have players who know how to win, and they are retiring. Giggs and Scholes are about 35, dont know how much gas they have left in their tanks. When they leave, which i believe will happen soon, I dont think Man utd have quality back ups in that position.
4. UEFA regulations: Clubs cannot spend more than they earn. And the only team that is earning something and is a title challenger is 'Arsenal'.
5. Goalkeeper (Reina) Two defenders (Gary Cahill and Mertesacker) and Eden Hazard, and we have an awesome team. No one else can spend so much money coz of reason no 5. And with even 20 percent of the luck that Man Utd had this season, we will be table toppers.

for the 2 point They are 37 each i guess n Giggs is gonna play next season too

3 Giggs- Nani already have a replacement.. though nt a natural left footer but two footed so can fill in that gap

4. that will start after 2011-12 season... n will be effective after for 2012-13 season after clubs announce dere 2011-12 financial reports.. so long way off..

thats why u see Roman n City spending heavily n will continue to happen before it comes into force..

5. u missed out a Striker.. u need 1 world class ST more as Chamakh dsnt have the gas to play full season in PL coiping wid its physical nature n RVP is injury prone and Bendtner cries abt not playing and threatened Wenger abt lack of game time so hes leaving Arsenal for me next season.

RvP has shown his true potential this season...just wishing that he keeps playing without getting serious injuries....16 goals in 16 matches..hell of a run!
but still we need a good striker and i would prefer Hugo Rodeliga...

2 defenders are really needed and i think Clichy should be replaced with someone like Evra. We have a good goal keeper right now as Schezny is proving to be a very good choice. Also Vito Manone has shown in 2009 season that he is capable of being a second choice keeper and he will return back to Arsenal in next season.

With Ramsey back in squad I think we don't need any new signing in midfield (as of now). But one striker and 2 good defenders (as someone said about defenders who can actually win headers and tackle w/o giving penalties). Apart from the new signings Theo Walcott really needs to work on his finishing. Diaby can be given one more chance, but Denilson, Eboue, and Almunia should be shown the exit door. Let's see in coming months what our Wenger sahab is thinking.
