the kids have grown up now...so the excuse that wenger used to give earlier is no more valid, they still might be young but 80% of the team has minimum 4 years of experience in EPL...and with players like denilson,diaby,eboue...Arsenal can never become like Barca...

He has also come out and said that he has played his last game for the club and that if an offer from arsenal comes in he ll leave in the summer. Wenger could easily bank in sum of more than 35M if he sells diaby, denilson, bendtner, almunia, eboue...and with that amount he can get both Hazard and Stekelenberg...but i doubt that Wenger will sell 5 players...

The thread belongs to them as much as it belongs to us.So,why shouldn't they comment ? But,the only thing that puts off is statements like "we will crush them" , "unbeatable goalie" etc even when against the same goalie Rooney scored in an away match.
Some genius here few days back was declaring Chelsea to be CL winners. Where is he now btw ? Haven't seen him here from that 0-1 defeat itself.
. I respect Chelsea,they have been tough competitors and they always challenge United in all fronts. But,such preposterous statements really puts me off.

He was not the only goalkeeper Cheslea were interested in as Akinfeev was subject to an offer as well. It is not necessarily anything to do with Cech leaving either. Thinking laterally about it. There will be limitations imposed by the FFP considerations in the future. Players who are out on loan have been paid for but do not need to be counted as part of a team's squad until they are declared. As such, several taems have started not just to look at kids for the future, but at players who have already made the grade but are still young. The sale can be agreed now and the player left on loan for a year or so. It makes a lot of sense..

SAF has his eyes on Neuer for a while now....And with Kuszczak bent on leaving, SAF would most definitely have to move for a renowned keeper.
Apart from that I think we'd only be in the market for youngsters and defenders for the future...Wingers we have. A central Midfield would do well too!
