well i feel a little sorry for those who were watching the United Marseille tie.. cuz the real action was on the other channel..!! An absolute thriller between Inter and Bayern which finished 3-2 in Inter's favour on the night, 3-3 on aggregate and Inter Milan are through on the away goals rule..!!
Bayern were leading 2-1 at half time.. it was 3-1 on aggregate..even the commentary team said there's no way back for Inter now..but they showed why they are the European champions..great team spirit and yes the manager Leonardo was like a 12th player.. hats off!!
Some really woeful defending from both teams though.. Inter would never be so fragile at the back under Mourinho and so for Bayern who looked the least bit interested in defending.. the way Schweinsteiger stuck out a lazy foot to defend the 2nd goal from Schneider was appaling.. Bayern can only blame themselves..!!
But yeah, take nothing away from Inter.. they absolutely deserved this!! :thumbsup:
P.S- did not see the other game, jus saw the final score.. looked close though!! 2-1 aggregate with Marseille having the away goal..!!
Dude Man Utd Vs Marseille was also a treat to watch...
goal by Hernandez in 5th min n den a sitter missed by Gignac.. dere was a penalty which refree did tuk time to think but never gave it..though it shud hav been given to Utd..
Valencia's presence in 2nd half made Utd luk more menacing.. Utd got the 2nd one in 75th min n they were cruising..
untill sum nevry defending by Wes Brown due to pressure from Heinze.. Deschamps was all over the line jumping from visiting team box to have his side sneak 1 more goal.. n it was a nervy ending wen the whistle blew in the end..
