1.Says its not rafa's fault, ok i will say nothin about team selection ( not startin with mata,ramires,hazard,cole...) wen we were 2-1 down he brings on Benayoun for oscar.... Common man even a donkey would not do so... that match was more imp then winning fa cup..|
2. it says lampard scores only penalties nd all that stuff... well all i can say this guy though he writes about chelsea knows nothing about chelsea... lampsey has scored headers, blasted ball from outside box, hit in rebounds all this season... and he seems to forget that killer passes which lampsey has been making throughout the season
3. Marko marin may be decent but his performance in that match was nothing short of rubbish...
I agree that Ryan Bertrand is less than average player...
@DarKnight14 Haha,it seems you love to elucidate your points. Well done. :)
What I am saying is that even If he is an ex-gunner, it would not give me even an ounce of pleasure If he won anything. On the contrary, it would hurt me. Why ? Because I really believed that with the signing of Cazorla, Podolski, Giroud and coming back of Jack wilshere, RVP had genuine chances of winning trophies with Arsenal.
Now buddy, you tell me how far behind does this team lag Man U without RVP. I know I am repeating my point but I am doing this to bring in to the picture the real thing : Money. This was the real factor. You admitted that Arsenal had a genuine chance wiith RVP. If football fans like you and me can understand that, then how the hell could RVP not understand. So it was all about money.
You also talked about lack of passion, zeal, mental strength etc. Believe you me, a summer of turmoil is never the best way to start a season. If top players of your side leave the club in the transfer window, from where will the mental strength and passion come? On the contrary, if all your top players stay and a few more are added to the squad, you start to hope and anticipate. And once u start winning a few matches at the start of the season, you grow in belief. Nothing succeeds like success. So all these mental aspects that you talked about are mere corollaries of success. Even champions like Dravid,Sachin and Lara had suffered loss of belief in themselves at various junctures of their careers. Why? Because runs had dried up for them at those junctures. So, I do not believe that particularly Arsenal players lack belief in themselves, it is about circumstances and atmosphere around them. And RVP this season was the architect of the gloomy atmosphere around the team.
And your point of RVP leaving silently.........well what can I say. He was just putting himself in the transfer window by writing that letter. He had expected that Barca or RM would show interest in him and snap him up. When he realized that he was not considered that special a player by Barca/RM as he had thought himself to be, he started attracting other suitors by appealing loudly : " Hey,I am here for the taking" (this is what his letter meant imo).
And he had the option of going to Juventus who many will agree is a better team than Man U and had better chance of winning both the league and CL. Whu did he not go there ? Salary/wages. It all boils down to wages honey !!!!
You seem to be mis-informed. Treble dream was over with CL exit. This was for the double.
In any case, I respect football enough not to laugh at the frailties of others otherwise I could start drawing unnecessary comparisons with many a team.
Although I do not agree with you when you say the Old Lady of Turin is better than the Red Devils (matter of perspective), it is not all about money. It is also abuot the rest of the league. Would you agree with me when I say that the PL is better than Serie A on the whole. The bottom teams here spring surprises on top-ranked teams ona regular basis. It's not the same in Serie A.
It's also about language and the general environment. RVP is famous in England, he had adapted to England. he speaks English. He is respected here. Maybe, he isn't open to a big change like shifting to Italy.
Isn't it the same with jobs. If I were to give you an option tomorrow telling you that you had 2 job offers waiting for you. One in Mumbai/Delhi and one in Chennai/Trivandrum but paying a lakh more. Where'd you go?
Thank you for pointing that out. I totally understood the 'sarcasm' in the original post. I just didn't choose to point fun at a team. As I've said before, I respect football and my club loyalties come secondary to the game.
@falcaoYou seem to be mis-informed. Treble dream was over with CL exit. This was for the double. In any case, I respect football enough not to laugh at the frailties of others otherwise I could start drawing unnecessary comparisons with many a team.
i am not mis informed mate.i was just talking about those deluded fans who were saying that we will conquer europe this time around and rvp for ballon d or.i am a madridista and i am enjoying every moment of this campaign, the team has grown by leaps and bounds since the bad start to the year.and i don't laugh at the team,i am laughing at those 90 percent so called united fans who don't even know the starting line up.and there is something known as banter, the game loses it's sheen once we don't laugh at other supporters.
Well,If I remember correctly, RVP wants to win the Champions league. I personally do not see Man United winning the CL in the near future. As far as Juventus is concerned, at the moment they are right behind Real/Barca in the European pecking order. I hope that Juventus and BM tie in the CL will substantiate my argument.
As far as environment, language and popularity issues are concerned, I accept your points. But then somebody claiming himself to be a lifetime gooner and being the Captain of arsenal, the least he could do was to go somewhere else other than Man U :our most hated rival.
I was stunned to hear that Ferguson himself was talking about winning treble. LOL. This Man u side is a very ordinary side to be honest. The problems at other clubs and referee decisions have meant that they are sitting at the top. But to think of winning CL is daydreaming.
Hate the game, not the players bro. Fans watch it for the thrill and fun. They may not know the starting line-up but at least they're making an effort to watch the game over the much hyped/publicised and marketed cricket tournaments.
I didn't mean any offence. I just don't like trashing the supporters of any team. To each his own, I'd say.
My apologies if i sounded crude in any way in my previous comments

brother rvp said that the child inside him said manchester united.did the child inside him not irk him, when he spat on the face of the club that had the trust in him.man arsene wenger literally treated him like a son.if he had the shame,he could have left for any foreign club like fabregas.fabregas is still held in high regards by arsenal fans but not the same with rvp.he shall always be remembered as a traitor.and deep down inside everyone knows he can never be a united legend.no matter how many goals he bangs,he shall be remembered for his misses.and the moment united land lewandowski or rodriguez or someone else,he is sitting out.age is not on his side,he turns 30 this year.so it was a bad and utterly disgraceful decision on his part.this is where people like totti and del piero come in mind.any team would have gladly taken both of them, but they stayed loyal, and del piero even stayed when juventus was relegated to serie b and did not retire till they won the title back.do these players need titles to substantiate their claims as legends,i don't think so.

not at all sir.u are my senior and studying at a good b school.i always try to listen to everyone and increase my spectrum of knowledge and gain maturity.
You do realise that a majority of that flame was fanned by the absolutely idiotic British print media like the DailyMail and the Sun.
I do realise that you as a Gunner were attached to the RVP. But we never know half of what goes on behind the scenes. Just today, Nasri mentioned that Kroenke forced his move from Arsenal. I agree RVP voiced concern over not winnign trophies. It could be that his move was made to suit the interest of both clubs concerned.
@falcao nice point buddy...but arent you downgrading the stature of players like delboy, totti or probably even raul by comparing them with RVP...I mean..you could have compared di natale with RVP. P.S. I personally feel even scholes/gigs doesnt belong to the league of del piero or totti...
Just hope that some sort of a cap on player's wages be applied in the world of football. Players have become mercenaries and loyalty and passion has gone for a toss. It is absolutely essential that fans identify with some players as their own. Other wise it all boils down to who has more money. I am sure football has more facets other than just money.

Why the hell is he so eager to play benayoun??.....he'll leave this summer!!...and even when he has talents like hazard/moses/mata....he oftten prefers Yossi!!....stupid FSW
Galatasaray was very unlucky today. Very bad decisions by referee for both sides but it harmed more to Galatasaray. It was clearly a penalty. They played really well against Real, obviously Real was too good for them but they made it real hard for Real :mg:. Respect to their players, they played their heart out. Though they have very narrow chance (I mean very very narrow) to make it to the semi-finals, still I wish them all the best.
Such a pleasure to watch a great match.
PS. I need a sleep, I just wrote plenty instead of penalty :mg:
@kshitijsharma sir actually problem is people like you are very less who respect this game more than anything even loyalty to their club comes second. Especially Utd Fans, most of them are arrogant, glory hunter and they proudly call themselves Manu fans :|. So its not like me or any other person hate Man Utd, we hate the fact that most of Man Utd fan thinks other teams are shit, and their fans have no right to live on this planet earth. Again I am not saying all the utd fans are same, people like you and @DibyaDreams are here who love this game and always talk sensible which is very rare in Man Utd fans. So things we talk against Man Utd is not an action, its a reaction. Hope you get it what I am saying.
And honestly I respect people like you and I personally don't hate Man Utd (ok at times they make hate this club) but as a general I don't hate any club. I just love this beautiful game and my club.
