Teams like Montenegro, Greece and Belarus and even the Asian teams (other than Japan) believe in containing in the first half! They wait for one chance, one slip up in the defense or a counter attack, and SNAP, they have scored!


It is really tough to play against such teams. But these teams don't have it in them to go all the way to lift the Cup.

Classic example I would for individuals is England which none would deny. Everytime they are favourites with even substitutes filled with match winners on their own. But as team disastrous mostly.
Small teams know it's hard to win. So they combine and play for a draw mostly and on the counter attack if they get a goal or two, then they will be lucky. In Euor group stages Serbia did the same I remember against Spain.

Ohh! I remember watching that Euro live in my newly gifted 'Chhota TV" :mg:

I remember that was the Euro tailor-made for the host nation! Apart from the Final, in all the matches Greece did play pathetic football! In the final, they played like a team possessed!

It was one of the biggest upsets in the history of Euro!

Another such underdog team has been Turkey ;)

All are good. But inexperienced. Could be a threat if they play together like germany. But club-wise, they are scattered largely.

Lol am a bit of a gloryhunter on the national stage :D

Whichever team is playing well in a competition, I support them :P

I as such can't connect to any other national team,except apna desi :P

I'd say I'm something of the same. In a match where England/Netherlands is playing, I'll support them but overall I'd just support Football.

Whoever plays better on that given day deserves to win. There's no need to foster hatred towards any certain team.

True!!! Rivalries arise mostly in club matches for those whose nations are not on the international league.

I was playing Fantasy Premier League last season. This season due to tight work, missed. Next year will register definitely.

I'm unaware of Pagalguy's league.
