even when you guys had truckloads of money.. you made signings that at best could only be called weird.. Whatsup with downing and henderson nowadays??

Daglish made some really bad signings
but downing is dng good this season 7 assists and 4 goals...(that is a lot for a winger and when that winger is downing)

Hendo is okay. he hasnt really been given much playing time.

@Subhashdec2 The very reason downing was brought to liverpool was to deliver inch perfect crosses to target man Caroll..!! We all know how that unfolded..!!
A player of gerards class should have players of higher caliber around him.. and with the money liverpool have they could easily have done a LOT LOT LOT better in the transfer market!!
Around 75 Mn spent on Carroll, Downing, Henderson and Adam!!!
You got Nuri Sahin on loan this season.. he could've made a big impact.. but. he was never given a proper well defined role..
He was so upset that he's told players not to go to liverpool!!
Stevie G deserves much better!!!

man that was the idea to get better players around gerrard when torres left.
but kenny's focus on english players screwed us.
and the list of players were a big hit a season before liverpool bought them

and Nuri Sahin did not get much playing time because of Joe Allen. since he was new and the first signing BR made and that too of 15m. so BR had to prove it to the board that he is good.
Hence he was given more time

Neat article man! Congrats on the interview. Although I do believe he is the bane of the club. Horrendous management, objectives and expectation which lead nowhere and I'm not sure but I believe he has no knowledge of what football actually is. The fans aren't too happy with the public squabbles over the management, no sane manager wants to go to Rovers and as for his fan following in India, I daresay that's negligible if nor non-existent.
