He believes he can raise the value of the club himself rather than selling and increasing. Also, there was a check in the bidding by the arab consortium. The valuation (Nearly double the present value) given is valid if Arsenal qualify for CL next season. Otherwise they will decrease the valuation drastically which will not be enough to persuade Stan I guess. Will have to wait and see what happens. But the Arab consortium has got huge plans for Arsenal.

I wish they go through. But then an unbeaten run like last year is required. Especially the matches against Chelsea are crucial. van Persie finishing is dearly missed this season.
