Adebayor won't accept that drastic a drop in his wages i guess.

wow 😲

This Transfer season is really exciting this time around cuz Arsenal after almost zero activity during the last transfer window (Except the last day effort) wish to add a few,

Tottenham if gossips are to be believed have offered a 100m $ kitty to ABV for transfers
Man C surprisingly cold as of now, but may be back with loads of fund (though they do not need to) with especially Dzeko showing restlessness
Chelsea spree continuing and seemingly has no stop till they buy another 20 players
Man U chasing as those possible
So many hi profile transfers everywhere
This all translates into one thing that every team seems to have an ambition to excel, everyone want the next season to be theirs...this is why I love EPL cuz here no position comes without effort

Man what do you mean by we r buying 20 players, we are being linked with every1 but as to date we have jst bought marin and hazard.. nd a overhaul was neccesary as for a club like chelsea 6th is not acceptable.

He is seemingly heading to the Stamford Bridge, So just chill and make ur count to 3..yes they needed an Overhaul and they are doing it
I was infact appreciating everyone's effort to stay competitive, that makes Chelsea the most impressive, right?

So arsenal has made 2 signings, totenham 2,

seemingly headed dosent makes a signing, n plz notice that 3 of our champions league starters have also departed.

N i agree that ur breif snapshot on current epl transfer market was quite appreciable n intresting, but that 20 signing part was jst hilarious!!!
@hirakms said: I think the reason behind this is the sheer number of games that chelsea have to play next season as the European Super Cup and Club World Cup will also be added. Chelsea are looking to have 2 players for every position And the Dailymail reported that chelsea most probably will opt for a formation where there would be 3 floating attacking players behind the striker(torres). So they would definately require AMs in good number...... lampard as it is will be playing as a sitting midfielder from now on.
well here is that I slightly disagree. Having to play 50-60 games doesn't mean that you start buying two players for each position.. infact a good manager should try to use the available resources he has at hand.. going by your theory of having 3 floating AM's . We have hazard, mata, marin, de bruyne, lampard, sturidge, malouda, ramires, (if reqd can play in this position), benayoun and not to forget lucas piazon who was just signed recently and kakuta vying for those positions .... bringing in a new player that too having unproven credentials for 20 mil pounds doesnt make sense.. we could have better used that money to buy a RB, DM, striker(to compete with Torres) or if we really wanted to sign an AM we could have tried to sign Hamsik, adam johnson or some one with proven credentials .

Also buying some one who is so young and would definitely be getting less playing time is not a wise decision, we all have seen how much Lukaku played last season. I feel here that Roman is kinda playing fantasy football getting in all the big young names and getting a decent manager so that he could exert more control on the team.

moutinho is a player who is being chased by Man Utd too..... looks like both teams are negotiating quite a bit.... baines looks a certain deal, evra is well past his date, he will provide with greater width and also increase our free kick options...

dunno why chelsea are chasing victor moses, their player recruitment drive seems to be as rampant as ever

yaar gud insight into the transfers, betw what is liverpool doing, no notable signings till date

@[8964:deepu]

arsenal definately need a LB an a central def, but as with old managers arsene wenger fails to see the obvious, just like fergie keeps ignoring Utd's mifield

Signing of Oscar has been confirmed by Chelsea 😁 .. Just hope they don't keep him on the bench as they did with Lukaku.

I one thing amazes me about porto fc is that they always find out star players from nowhere.. after their ucl triumph in 2004, several players left them deco, carvalo, ferrira.maniche, nd ofcourse the special one.. bt look at the players they have breed since then falcao, hulk, mutinho, perrira, rodriguez.... nt to forget costinha nd nuno valente. their scouting network must be amzing

cant believe people paying 32m pounds for a player like Ibra..... he's slow, full of attitude and frankly not in the world class category....

meanwhile spurs have signed their 3rd and 4th players of the summer, adebayor joining from city and zeki fryers has just left Man utd for spurs, boy if they manage to sign moutinho then they will have one hell of a team....

meanwhile Man Utd are seemingly close to a 25m pound deal for brazilian player Lucas Moura, dunno where this deal is coming from, we badly needed someone to replace paul scholes not another nani-esqu player..... hopefully we will get baines too....

sad sad news for the gooners 😞 .
the time has come when we should be afraid of Spurs. How far have we fallen :banghead:

arsenal still has a team to fight for the top 4, maybe not the championship.... they are in much better shape then liverpool i must say.....

what arsenal need is one world -class midfielder, someone like say fabregas, they have not really replaced fabregas or nasri come t think of it, an why on earth they didnt try for vertogen is anybody's guess..... any player will surely chose arsenal over spurs....

newcastle have signed debucy... the best right back in the french league last season..... it shows that good players are still available on the cheap !!!!

@[557139:rahulrevenger] : all your suspicions came true.. they went .. and lets see what AC is going to do now..

if only RVP is staying i would have felt the same. RVP leaves and we are not strong enough for top-4.

vertongen wanted first team football. Arsenal already have Kos,Verms and Merc. they can't guarantee him first team footy. hence he chose spurs which is a good move for both parties.

yep debuchy is a wonderful buy.

The news about darren fletcher is heartbreaking, though m a chelsea fan i felt sad when i heard about him. still remember his looped headed goal against us in 05-06.. Respect!!!
