Utd really needs some fresh talent as far as midfield is concerned.... with only carrick, fletcher a soon to be 39 yr old giggs
who keeps playing and injured cleverly . Fergie has already said that there are only 2/3 players good enough to play 4 utd...is he referring to iniesta, xavi and sneijder...
... he wont get anyone... boy, i can name at least 10 players in the premier league itself who are better than our current midfield players.

Totally agree with you there..not a united fan myself but admire the fight and determination united always show
over the years ferguson hasnt had a very expansive mid player(no. 10 rite)..he usually play those hardworking type mids who can win the ball and supply it quickly to thier wingers/rooney..and since rooney can play that no. 10 position, I really dont think he will go for someone like a sneijder. maybe a deep lying midfielder like modric might fit in well.However I think cleverly is fantastic and will fill in nicely for scholes in the long term..
Watched the chelsea-valencia match yesterday. Drogba,mata,romeu and ramires were awesome. Drogba is one of the best big match player for me! and that too wen ppl were writing him off he comes up with a game like that, almost single handedly destroyed valencia!.Respect.
Players like mikel,kalou,malouda,anelka have been below par for too long and gotten away with it. It was high time they be sidelined. Was quite brave of avb to have played romeu,benched lampard in such an important match. Romeu was too gud, seemed as though hes been playing for years in the UCL,didnt seem like a guy starting only his 3rd match for chelsea.

Just got to know robben and kroos wont be playing 😞 .Have a feeling bayern will field a second string side tonite and city will probably win. However iti is the other game that has a bigger bearing, napoli need to win at villareal to go thru else city qualify.
For distraction's sake I hope city qualify for the knockouts of UCL, cause if they dont their sole focus will be on the epl. Frankly europa league is crap and even a second string city side will be as good if not better than most other teams so there is a scope for resting players.

Napoli will beat villareal hands down...so no worries there... citeh is gonna go the europa league...that a christmas gift for all man utd fans..

Sir alex ferguson, without his drive this team is nothing... and this condition is all down to the glazers...think abt ir..since 2004 glazers:sneaky: have taken 900m$ out of UTD while sheik mansour has poured in respectively 1400m$ in city:nono:...Utd's hard working midfielders will win premier league's but not champions league were aristocrasy prevails and europe is on a different level altogher...sad to say but at this moment utd cant compete with the likes of real and barca..there midfield is way 2 strong:-(

This mentality cant be bought , it can only be developed .

One result screams out in our face Basle 2 -1 Man Utd.... my worst fears came 2... now guys dont say that UTD dont deserve to be knocked out... after failing to beat both benfica and basle it should be a reality check for fergie.... about saying that his squad is good enough... enough of relying on a 38 year oldie... this midfield screams out for new players old man..
