Kenny Dalglish has built up a pretty decent team for the new season now with Enrique's signing completed. Gerrard I believe will be unfit for the first few games of the season. My starting XI would look something like this:-

That's an amazing line-up. Although I think Downing and Suarez both will feature, as long as they are fit. So will Carroll. Kuyt as back-up to Carroll, is much better, considering he's better upfront than playing at the flanks.
Still think a CB is needed. Maybe Dann/Cahill coz Carra is getting older, and Skrtel and Kyrgiakos are inconsistent. Also, not to forget Agger's injury woes.
And +1 about Lucas. From being a scapegoat for everything that went wrong, to one of the definite starters in the team. Great commitment from the lad.
