hello friends,
I m bit confused whether to opt for FRM or CFA , curently i am an officer in a public sector ban k and want something good to my CV so friends i need your suggestions on this.
please guide.
@KingSing7 FRM and CFA has almost equal market value CFA focuses on financial analyst kind of roles,where u will analyse balance sheet, value a company,projections etc.
FRM focuses mainly on risk management...
So based on u r interest u can choose to do either....

CFA and FRM both are highly valued certifications.
FRM is more biased towards Risk Management, whereas CFA is a holistic financial certification course where it covers most of the aspects pertaining to finance.
Even 2 levels of CFA and FRM are considered as pretty good value add.
If you are looking more towards banking side, NCFM certications are good option. It has a whole lot certifications for all areas of Banking and Finance.

How long do you think senior people would be interested in pampering them or supplying them with pirated material !!

Correction.
CFA program is only concentrated towards investment management. Please be aware that Finance is much much wider than what CFA program covers.

1. Is it possible to take both FRM 1 and FRM 2 exams on the same day
2. will 8-9 months be enough for preparing both the levels ?
3. What will be the good material (om notes or kaplan or anyother one , which will be the best for a beginner in finance, i have no prior experience in fin industry and i am not from fin background)
4. Is there any study group in chennai for nov 2013 ?

called up Laxmi Xerox for 2013 FRM Part2 material and he says tht it will be avlbl after Feb 22nd. Any shop where the Core Readings are available now?

Can anyone tell me what is the total size of the BT videos for PART-1
