Yes, you can appear.
However, to be a certified FRM, you would need atleast 2 yrs of relevant workex.

I have purchased the GARP material directly from GARP, it is 2012 edition. You should not doubt the GARP material. Thanks.

If you are not working, you can leave the box empty.

I would have written my employer since that time I was working.
Maybe you can write "student" or "Not Working" if that describes you.
You can always modify your profile later - so do not be too hung up on it.
