= 83 key depressions per minute (Approximately)
When converting it into word per minute, the language in question plays an important.
In English, an average word consists of 4 - 5 characters. If we calculate with 4, then the equation is as follows.
⇒ 4x + x - 1 = 83
(x refers to the number of words and x - 1 refers to the number of spaces between words, which also counts as the total number of key depressions)
⇒ 5x = 83 + 1
⇒ 5x = 84
⇒ x = 84/5
⇒ x = 16.8 words per minute.
Calculation with 5 letters in a word -
⇒ 5x + x - 1 = 83
⇒ 6x = 83 + 1
⇒ 6x = 84
⇒ x = 84/6
⇒ x = 14 words per minute.
