My registration no is 103444. is there any provision to prepone the date of GD/PI. my gd/pi is scheduled on 21st of feb and the next day I have one exam to take in bangalore. Can my GD/PI be rescheduled to 20th of feb. Please consider my request.

we understand your position and your anxiety. But please read the thread before posting simmilar queries. We have already addressed this issue. Post # 72 & 77 have answers to your queries.

i am posting the email id of admissions committee for sending rescheduling interview mails: [email protected]. Do state the reasons of rescheduling interviews. Also, it would be nice if you help us also by filling the google doc on post#72.

Just wanted to know how far is IIT from Roorkee station. I am planning to board Janshatabdi from delhi and am also willing to return by D'Dun Shatabdi in the evening.

In my knowledge someone got rank 3010...
Is someone who got less rank than this?

it takes nearly 15 minutes to reach IIT Roorkee from Railway station and bus stand is at walking distance, cycle rickshaw people would charge Rs 15-20 (depending on the timings).

The last rank posted by any OBC guy is 3010 till now. Its quite unlikely that anybody with a lower rank might have got a call.

Whats the last general category rank that fetched a call?

Also, you can post your query in the OBC JMET thread to know more about the cutoffs of OBCs......

seniors I am getting really nervous about PI. Actually, in my ug & pg i'v had 26 subjects!! and i hardly remember anything now.i started PI preprations 10 days back still i don't think i'll be able to complete all of them. (today even thought of dropping the call!!) i even have worked for 21 months but left job 6 mths back(as there was hardly anything to do there so obviously hardly anything to tell about my work ex) pls suggest some way to handle this.

but seeing u so much depressed I feel to reply...

yeah it's true that der r lots of technical questions but that's not all the scenario..

1. prepare 2-3 subjects u feel comfortable..
>>> prepare for real time use of those subjects
such as DSA(Data Structure) you can use in general problems too..
2. Work experience details: I can understand You had not any work..
but you must got some training ...so prepare dat part...
n it's not abt the work it's abt ur presentation...
3. don be nervous..
I know ppl who don know a single answer but make it to good B-schools with smile on face and confidence...
at the end of the day these matters...
4. prepare basic questions such as
Tell me abt urself?
y mba?
y dis college?
future plans?

try hard for these questions???
i feel answer for these questions does matter coz answer shows how much u know abt urself and how do u think...
