Dear friends, I have sent an email to Chief minister and Deputy CM of Delhi on 19th Dec regarding the biased recruitment process in DMRC as below.

Sir, I am a B. Tech (civil engineering) graduate from Delhi and writing on behalf of all the B. Tech degree holders who are seeking government jobs in Delhi.
I would like to bring to your kind notice the injustice happening to us in the recruitment process of Engineers in Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. In the latest recruitment notification issued by DMRC the eligibility criteria for the post of Junior Engineering has now been limited to Diploma only (Page no. 5 of ADVT. NO.: DMRC/HR/RECTT./I/2019) and there is no criteria for percentage in diploma while before that Degree holders were also eligible for the post . B. tech graduates are eligible for the post of Assistant manager but there is criteria of 60% marks in degree along with 2 years of post qualification experience. Please see the attachments below enclosing the latest notification and the previous one.
I have secured 58.62% marks in B. Tech. and I was eagerly waiting for this notification from last 2 years, because previously DMRC has always allowed Degree holders for the post of junior engineer. This would be my last chance to apply for the post as I am going to complete 28 years of age (age limit for the post) in 2020.
I have qualified CBT 1 conducted by RRB for the post of JE in Indian Railways held this year but could not qualify CBT 2 with very little margin. At the time of application, RRB asked us to let them use our obtained score for recruitment in other departments and I affirmed that. Hope this could help me in this matter as Indian Railways is the parent organisation of DMRC.

For the Junior Engg Post , B.Tech Degree Holders Allowed in UPMRCL(LMRC) but not allowed in DMRC.
- B.Tech Graduates are highly qualified but JE post is underqualified job.
- JE ki post diplomchio k liye hai.
