frnds think different....example like .if your state cutoff is 97 for gen cat ...and vacancy for gen cat is around 90....then meaning is only 270 students were shortlisted for interview.....so only 270 students were got above 97 marks......now if u have +25 above cutoff then u r in top list of your state.........this is the scenario...dont think your states has less vacancy....think like only such number of student shortlisted..and  only those students have above cutoff marks......dont think all students have above 35 to 40 above cutoff.....if u have 20+ marks as compare to cutoff then chances are like u surpass 60%  to 70%of students who shortlisted for interview.... bcz only few students shortlisted so
