Why I didn't fall for the CIL MT 2017 SCAM ?
Below are the 5 reasons why I didn't attempt the CIL MT 2017 test unlike my friends who got ripped off by the greatest scam of 2017 so far.
1. Coal India Limited and its subsidiaries operate in remote locations where there is little/no development and all you can find is coal dust and toxic gasses. This becomes a hazard for Mining and Mechanical MTs - Check out Glass door reviews for the miserable conditions that CIL employees have to live with.....
2. There is a 5 year bond (violating which you will be made to pay them 300000* before they let you go) and considering point 1 above, it makes sense that CIL has an entrapment plan for suckers once they join....
3. Ever heard of the Burning fields of Jharia.....If you haven't, then google it - CIL's Subsidiaries (where the jobs are being offered) include BCCL and one of its main coal mine is in the Jharia Fire Field.....I pity the souls who get appointed in this one.......on the flipside there may be ones who get into CIL HQ - although I am not sure there are any posts there this time but if they do get postes at HQ, they only ones who are going to get a decent job.
4. CIL didn't actually disclose the exact number of jobs and the locations of postings - the notification said - 1) CIL is recruiting for its subsidiaries 2) The exact number of jobs may very depending in the company's interest....so even if you crack the written, they may hold you back at interview....According to a trusted source from CIL-HQ, most of the good posts ( The ones in CIL HQ West Bengal(if any), etc ) will be filled up internally. The ones that are hazardous are given to the suckers who got through the interview.
5. The real reason why your CIL application cost was 1000/- (unlike other PSUs and PSCs where fee for online exam is usually in the range of 500/- for PSUs and 250/- for PSCs ) was to AID THE COMPANY FINANCIALLY.....if you have seen the news regarding CIL last year, apparently CIL is planning to set up new mines despite their decline in profits and what better way to get money without asking Banks than conduct an exam for nonexistent openings......if you think a mere 1000 is trivial to a billion dollar industry like CIL, do simple math - 1000*(no.of students applied) = GREATEST SCAM OF 2017......oh and don't forget the ones who actually get the job and leave it within a month due to lung cancer and end up paying 300000 - ( monthly fixed amount)....if you still don't believe me - just check today's CIL stock - its still in loss @ - 0.69 as of today....)

So, if you are like me who avoided getting ripped off - Rejoice ! .....if you aren't, then stop wasting anymore time obsessing about CIL...there are other PSUs that offer jobs in a breathable environment.....
Finally for the toppers, its great that you have scored such high marks in an open test but think twice before actually joining this dreaded company. If you have cracked this test, it probably means you can crack other tests.....
Note : The Author is a Mechanical Engineering Graduate working as GET in a renowned Automobile Manufacturing Plant in India. Although he attempted a few exams in the past like GATE, ESE and state PSCs (passing them but never landing on a job either rejecting the offer or getting rejected...), he realized that "Sarkari Naukari" is a myth, once he joined his present company - The perks are same (Pay, Allowances.....) and contrary to popular belief there is no intense work pressure.
