Spoke to a senior who is currently working in CIL (can't disclose name or dept) . He said
1) Interview shotlist of candidates will come out in May 1st/2nd week. Names will be given in alphabetical order only and no one will know who has scored how much except for you and those taking your interview . No cutoff will be given.
2) Interview form end may to mid June.
3) Final result probably mid July to end of July
Also in terms of work environment Mining/Electrical/Mechanical Engineers have the worst conditions becuase you are directly responsible for working of mines and hence will be posted on site.
Rest of guys have either posting at City/HQ/CMPDI and then visit mines ocassionaly(Geology/Civil/Environment) and others (Finance/Legal) hardly ever go there and have desk job

New story taken from materials management group regarding delay After speaking to a few CIL employees I got to know that there shall be much more delay than anticipitated due to Director Personnel resignation a few days ago. It can end up in a situation where results shall be declared only after successor appointment which is in process & may take one month or more.
