Hey there all aspirants, I think we should do something about the recruitment that are done through GATE where a single candidate with good rank gets 6-7 job offers while others do not even make to the waiting list. The recruitment through gate should follow more or less the pattern of IBPS where candidates are required to fill their choices and everyone gets only one job offer.
I have already sent a suggestion to PM via the online portal regarding, if we could do this in large number, hope it will make some change.
If you have any other ideas please do comment, I am in.
please keep on updating about your joining dates and medical..so that environment and geology could stay updated about the process
Even BARC conducts its own exam other than GATE, why psu don't!
I lodged following public grievance to pmo regarding psu recruitment through gate. "Subject: regarding psu recruitment for engineers through GATE Respected sir, This is not just my personal grievance but a problem of most of the unemployed engineer graduates of our country. Sir, engineers who aspire for psu start preparation for GATE and if anyhow they don't have their stars with them on that particular day, their hope vanishes by just one exam. And they have to wait till next year for further recruitment facing all the pressure from family, society almost every day for next 365 days. SIR, Every year, BHABHA ATOMIC RESEARCH CENTRE recruits engineers through GATE in feb but also conducts its own exam 1 month after GATE in march, giving another chance for us. We all engineers want this pattern to be followed by every PSU recruiting through GATE. SIR, I hope this request will be considered and appropriate action will be taken by PMO. Thanku"

Guys I am one among the selected candidates list that was posted on coal india's site. As a result I already left the preparation and not giving the coming exam. Am I going right? Can I be sure that they will not alter the list and send the appointment letter or I need to think In a different direction and start preparing for other.
