If a, b and c are natural numbers such that a2= bc2, then which of the following is/are true I. a must be divisible by b. II. a must be divisible by c2. III. a must be divisible by c.
My answer was both 2&3 but the official key says only 3. What am I missing here?
Let a, b and c be three positive real numbers such that the sum of any two exceeds the third and abc > 1. The expression logx(a + b – c) + logx(b + c – a) + logx(a + c – b), where x > 1, cannot exceed
Kunal sells apples in boxes of different sizes. Apples are priced at Rs 6 per apple upto 100 apples. For every additional 10 apples over the first 100 apples, the price for all the apple goes down by 50 paise per apple. What should be the size of the box, such that the fully packed box would fetch the greatest ?
Is trignometry an important topic for CAT. I am using time material and am comfortable with questions related to height (where angles of elevation are provided) and know basic graphs of trigno functions..is that sufficient given that the time material is a bit more comprehensive than that.
Thanks
Two runners run in the same direction along a circular track 2 km long. The faster runner overtakes the slower one every 30 minutes. Find their speeds, if faster one completes a round one minute sooner than the other.
