There are two vessels, P and Q, containing only milk and only water respectively. The volume of milk in P is the same as the volume of water in Q. Now one-third the contents of P are poured into Q, after which one-fourth the contents of Q are poured back into P. If this process is repeated 15 more times, what is the approximate final concentration of milk in vessel P?

Sonal and Deepali started swimming towards each other simultaneously from points A and B respectively situated at two ends of a 96 km long stretch of a river. Destinations of Deepali and Sonal were points A and B respectively. Both of them could swim at 12 kmph in still water. When they started, it was high tide and Sonal swam against the stream. As soon as they met, the tide changed to ‘low tide’ and then Deepali faced the resistance of the stream. Deepali and Sonal took 7 hr 12 min and 8 hr min to reach their destinations respectively. [Speed of the stream during high and low tide need not necessarily be the same.] "

If they had continued to swim back to their respective starting points after reaching their destinations, then where would they have met during the return journey? [Assume tide changed only once, immediately after their first meeting] Source CL

C can do in 3 days half of what A can do in 5 days .A can do in 2 days half of what B can do in 6 days.If it takes 12 days for A and C to finish the entire job, how many days will it take for B alone to finish the job?

a1,a2....a5 are five natural numbers. Find the number of ordered sets (a1,a2,...,a5) possible such that a1+a2+...+a5=64.

The HCF of three natural numbers x, y and z is 13. If the sum of x, y and z is 117, then how many ordered triplets (x, y, z) exist?

a) 28

b) 27

A square ABCD is given with its center as O. Now A and B are joined to O. Balls of three different colors are given and we have to put those balls on A,B,C,D and O such that the colour of the balls on the points which are connected by a line segment is different. In how many ways can we accomplish this task?

Also explain the approach.

In a triangle abc, three points D, E and F are chosen on sides BC, AB and AC respectively such that de is parallel to ac and df is parallel to ab. if the area of triangle bde is 36 and that of quadrilateral aedf is 60, then find the ratio of the perimeter of triangle cdf to that of abc

Answer is d ,please send solution
