Hello Priyank. To give you a brief idea about my background, I worked across sectors and different roles before getting into an MBA program. I gained experience in the tech sector, most notably in the financial services sector through insurance and banking. Thereafter the plunge into MBA in HR came from Symbiosis but I had landed parallel calls as well. I had calls from TISS, SIBM, MICA as well. All those rounds of GDs and PIs gave me first hand experience of what goes behind the scenes of selecting candidates.
Post my MBA, I, as an HR, had to play multiple roles in the corporate. Some of them were also linked to assessing which candidates are a good fit for our company, specially fresher hiring. Not just that, but also the kind of work done by HR, Finance, Procurement, Operations and other non technical functions gave me a view into how does a company function and what kind of thought processes are needed and expected from freshers and experienced candidates.
I’m sure if truly aspiring students form a group and are available to plan for sessions with me, I can mentor them basis my experience and give them insights into the ever-evolving world of corporate.
