Guys IIM Lucknow asks for experience only up to 31st July 2018. I have recently changed to a different company. Anyone experiencing the same issue? How are you handling the work ex section?

Hi guys! I have a Call from IIM L. As proof of work experience I have last 6 pay slips, service certificate and joining letter. But I don't have the first payslip and because I am an ex employee, retrieving the same is going to take some time. Will the service certificate suffice as proof of work ex, or is the first pay slip an absolute necessity? Kindly help me with this. It's my only call and I don't want to mess this up. Thanks.
Hi everyone. A little doubt while filling IIM Kozhikode personal data form. While entering the academic details it asks for graduation percentage as on 15 January 2019, I entered the desired value. But after you submit it, the fully filled form is shown. But the form which is shown to us after submission reads "Bachelor percentage as on January 15 2018". Why first the form is asking for the graduation percentage on 15 January 2019, and why after submitting it, the date suddenly changes to 15 January 2018? Does anyone facing the same issue? If yes, how to correct?

If you have good 10th and 12 std marks a good (both 90+ )percentile (96+) and have still not received an IIM I call, you might want to read the following. There have been a lot of instances where students have entered their Best 5 percentage marks in 10th std Maharashtra state board and got calls from IIM Indore. ( I am myself a Maharashtra board student and entering the percentage specified on marksheet would have led to an increase by 2.5 percentage points.) IIM Indore Shortlisted 2520 for batch 2018-2020. This year the number was same. The instructions given in Cat form categorically stated that we have to enter 10th standard percentage considering all subjects irrespective of the process followed by board. As IIM I places a lot of weightage to 10th standard marks, this has resulted in increasing the composite cutoff for all and thus genuine applicants are not getting calls. Such instances should be highlighted to the authorities at IIM I so that necessary action be taken to ensure a fair process for all.

When "K" has only XII score and CAT score in their WAT-PI shortlisting criteria, why do they release a separate stage-1 shortlist for all the eligible candidates? Is there any hidden criteria?

I want to pursue MBA in Finance. I just wanted to know whether I should give CAT again or join the IITs for their MBA program if I get any?
What should we fill in the IIM K form for graduation marks ? CGPA at the end of each year or Average of sgpa of each semester in that particular year?

While uploading documents I uploaded the State Government Caste Certificate. I didn't have a central government caste certificate then but I do now. Would it cause any problems in the further shortlist procedure if I upload the Central Govt Caste Certificate from now on?

Apparently, India, one of the fastest growing economies in the world, has about 50% of the seats in it's premier management institutes filled with undeserving and below average students who have been allotted seats on zero merit but just on their caste. Reservation was initially meant to uplift the oppressed castes. Agreed, these reserved categories were oppressed. But for how long was this upliftment supposed to take place? Article 334 of the Constitution had originally required the reservation of seats to cease in 1960. Subsequent governments amended the caste multiple times to avoid loosing the category vote banks. But has the original purpose of reservation been achieved? Or is it being mindlessly extended just for the benefit of a few? It's time to end this bullshit! These candidates and the government is equally shameless for letting merit sit in the backyard and let race determine the kind of education one begets. Shame! Pity!
