From 2012 class 10 batch, CBSC eased many requirements. Many got 10/10 CGPA in 10th Class.
Isliye very high cuoff for IIM Indore. In myopinion, they should also scale for various years in same board!
B schools are know for management, which means mangaging people and their right concerns. I see why there is soo much unrest in corporate world againest management.
Which iims have rolled out calls till now?? Will we get mails or we have to check from their sites?

Anyone tried calling IIMB admissions office? I called on monday and they said by this week. But to others who called yesterday, they said only during weekend.
Sine most old IIMs have released their shortlists, I have been seeing a lot of these posts where people are expressing shock / disbelief over not being shortlisted from IIMs like L and I. People are posting that they do not know what does the IIMs want from them.
I would like to say to all these people that either you have not done some basic research or else are completely ignoring the fact that each IIM had a pre-decided shortlisting crieteria (clearly defining weightage of each component like acads / work-ex etc.).
These shortlisting crieterion were being made available by them on their websites even before the CAT registrations began. So ideally you should have gone through those criteria well in advance as a part of your planning and preparation.
What I mean here is that a GEM with poor acads, let's say AR 22/30 can't expect a call from IIMA even at 99.95 percentile.
Another example is that if you have work-ex of 26 months or more, IIML will provide you 10/10 for work-ex. So, freshers will be directly at a 10 point of loss which would be very difficult to cover up through stellar percentiles also.
So, there is no point now to question / criticize IIMs for their shortlisting criteria. As illogical or flawed the criteria may sound, but that crieteria was on public forums since begining and we should have done our basic research in order to manage our expectations and preparations in a better way.
Anyways, lets the hope the best for B and K shortlists :)
I am unable to open the personal data form for IIMK. It is showing page didn’t send data. Is anyone else facing this problem?
Hi fellow aspirants,
I have a doubt with respect to IIM A and L Provisionsonal Shortlist Form.
In the section to enter 12th marks, it says to enter the marks of all the subjects listed in the marksheet but since I am from CBSE 2012 passout, the marksheet includes 5 subjects for marks awarded out of 100 each and 3 subjects with just grades (No examination but just grading - Physical Education, Work Experience and General Awareness).
Should I enter the marks obtained in the 5 subjects only or should I include these additional 3 subjects?
If you are advising me to enter the additional 3 subjects, how can i calculate the score as there is no official document dt 2012 for conversion of grade to percentage for 12th standard. If there is, please do provide the link.
Please do help cause I am hanging by a thread and A form closes soon.
