Can someone tell me how the composite score for FMS shortlisting is calculated? My sectional percentiles are 99.83/97.11/95.14 in VA/LR/QA
Do you think it's high time now that the educational institutions should start giving percentiles for each of the 10th grade, 12th grade and maybe even for graduation. Bcs the IIMs don't even care to differentiate between different institutions. I mean a 7 CGPA in some premier institute might mean more than a 9 in some third tier institute. Percentiles on the other hand will give them a better idea about the performance of the students.

with acads 85.5/79.6/76.4 (Btech) , 19 month workex and cat percentile as OA (85.6) sectionals all above 70. what colleges should i fill and get. This is my last attempt. please suggest colleges as this is border line case for many and I am worried to fill.

My dilr and QA got scaled by few decimal points by varc by much higher margin comparatively. Do you think any answer for slot 1 got cancelled after all the objection form saga and they chose to cut marks without revealing the outcome of objection form results? Because I have seen multiple people post their raw and scaled scores. Mist if them had significant downscaling in varc only.
An interesting and quite confusing fact according to yesterday's source code leak: a) Many have pointed out that the raw scores get multiplied by a certain factor (<1 or >1) and the scaled scores were obtained. b) By this logic, those in Slot 1 and higher raw marks got penalized by more marks (3-4 in some cases). But can anyone please explain how this happened? 1) Those getting less than 50 raw in Slot-1 QA were upscaled by 0.1 to 0.3. 2) Those getting more than 50 raw in Slot-1 QA were downscaled by -0.6 to -1.3. Similar thing has happened for Slot-2 QA as well. What is the justification?
