111 in cat 2018 slot 1 will fetch a percentile of?
Slot 1 QA : 36 Overall 151 My query is will 36 cross 90 in slot 1? (NITIE is one of my desired colleges and i feel 151 would yield me 97%ile) I am re-posting this question as I didn't get much of a response earlier. Your inputs will be highly appreciated.
Just see 2016 vs 2017. If we observe both paper in 2017 dilr slightly tougher than 2016, and varc almost same, and quant in 2017 was easier as compared to 2016, due to only quant section there was diffirence of 18 marks for 99th percentile. So if we consider this year quant was even tougher than 2016, and dilr , varc almost same as 2016. So i think due to quant section cut off must fall than 2017 at least by 20 to 22 marks. So i dont think 99th percentile can greater than 150 marks this year.
If we go by cracku list, the average of top 500 people for dilr is lower than quant , i think by 5 to 7 marks or something. many saying that quant was tougher thsn dilr, so i think surprize factor in mind of people playing more roll than actual comparative difficulty level between quant and dilr..( i know, please highlight word comparative, quant was still tough), so i personally think dilr was still tougher compare to quant.(please again highlight compare word, i know it was tougher). What do u think?

Seeing a lot of 140+ scores flooding the page recently. I would like to request all of you to upload your response sheets in cracku. Since I believe the toppers list is the best indicator of where we stand.
Expecting 95-97 in CAT (OA 124 43/33/48 SLOT 2)which colleges should I apply for
Approximately 20% people on PG haven't uploaded their scores in cracku, thats very shocking to me. Scary stuff !!

As per the latest cracku topper's list 137 is around 1700 rank. Now for safe side adding another 1000 students in the 137+ bracket (those who have still not uploaded in cracku).So, 2700 candidate in the 137+ bracket.
Total 2.41 lacs candidates filled the form.Everyone doesn't appear for cat. Now,taking 2.2 lacs people who have actually appeared in the exam. So, 99 percentile will be around 2200 rank.
from the list we can see , there are almost 100 odd people for the same marks. Now, from 137 to 130 say for safer side there will be 300 people in same marks considering overall scenario. so (300*7)=2100...now adding 2700+2100=4800(rounding off to 5000)..
So,at score 130 rank is 5000 i.e. ~97.8 %ile.
Seniors/mates what do you think how much feasible is this calculation from the topper's list data? kindly add your valuable opinion regarding this.

I find some classes predictions and you tube videos where they stated difference between 99th and 99.5 percentile by over 25 marks. Do u think it is possible?
