Guyz is th rti rearding iim a published in 2017 authentik. If someone conver at 85.5% he /she migh have 100 raw marks at most.if iim select at 0.7 cutoff then his overall score should be 0.33*0.7+0.3=0.53 approx
For a raw score of 54 in varc TIME gives scaled score as 58.05 whereas 72 raw score in QA is fetching scaled score as 75.74. I thought that scaling is dependent on difficulty scale. Does this look right?

Hi @MarutiCracku @SrikanthCracku In the 95%ile range, cracku predicts a difference of 1%ile between the two slots for the same score. Can you give us some broad analysis and data points as to why this is the case? By looking at the initial data, I was of the opinion that the percentile will vary by 0.5 at best.

Cracku preicts that the students of slot 1 needs to score more than 300 to score 100 percentile. It predicts that 102 VARC is 99.99; 96 DILR is 99.99 and QA 102 is 99.99.

I have been a silent observer on PG for the past few days. The developments on PG in the recent days ( or should I say hours) have been quite eventful to watch and would make for an interesting case study. As goes the saying ‘A crowd has too may heads but too little brain’, an unsubstantiated claim is all it took to turn people against something. I am really amazed at the audacity with which people use terms such as ‘fraud’, and ‘inflated’ without having solid evidence to back their claim. I do think that people who aspire to go to IIMs should learn some politically correct ways of putting forward their opinions. Another thing that disheartened me was that the very people who did not shy away from using the data before a few days after slipping in a customary ‘courtesy’ did not miss a chance to take a jibe today. The sense of entitlement and the vitriolic opportunism floating around makes me apprehensive of the kind of students that the top B-schools await. Irrespective of the veracity of the data, I think people should learn some acceptable ways of penning down their thoughts. After all, the sample space in PG represents the best that the country has to offer.
Can anyone please tell what is the cutoff Percentile for new and baby iims call. GEM. Every website has some different numbers to tell. Kindly share your views.
