Will there be scaling advantage to slot 2 in varc as slot 1 highest score in varc is 98 and slot 2 87..and top 20 30 scorers of slot 1 and 2 are at 87 and 78 respectively

Should cat be given two or three attempts like nmat has and best score be used??Please give your answers with reasons.
In the CAT form, I entered 36 months as work experience which is my CA Articleship (CA not completed yet)... Many college forms specifically state that it isn't work ex but not the CAT form. My doubt is that if an IIM I/L/K(A/B/C) CALLS me prima facie on the basis of this work ex, but later on decide that it is NOT to be counted then will it be counted as 0 for the further process or my CALL would be INVALIDATED??? In such a case will I lose the opportunity to join even the IIM i would have with 0 work ex? Thanks :/
I have 25 month and 28 days experience certificate(because my resignation comes in to effect on last working day of month i.e 29th as 30th and 31st were holiday) but in cat form i have mentioned it as 26 months in total...but i just got to know about udaipur rules for shortlisti g that they consider only completed months....have i done something wrong in this case? Or 2 3 days is fine when u r talking about whole month?
I am expecting 89% percentile, can I manage to get admission in premier B-schools. I have checked in Aglasem that there are atleast 2,09,800 candidates have given the CAT exam.

Do iim call students who have 99.5+ in 2 sections and just clearing cutoff in one section but meeting the overall criteria with good percentile.
my analysis
99th percentile in 2017=174 scaled score
this translates to approx. 165-167 marks at least
major diff. bw last year and this year paper is tough QA (which was last section so did not affect performance of other section)
so max diff in QA for the same percentile will be 15 marks raw
now,DI was a little easier and hence we can expect a 3-4 marks more compared to last year
this results in a net reduction of 11-12 marks and hence 153-155 should be the score for 99th percentile this year.
