The FMS cutoff for 2016 was >59 and for 2017 was >52 despite the fact that the 2016 paper was significantly low-scoring that 2017's. Can we expect the comprehensive score cutoff to fall, perhaps closer to 50?

For %ile predictions: Roughly, three sectional 97%iles give 99%ile OA; And three 99%iles give 99.7%ile OA. So, one way to estimate your OA %ile is by using the sectional cutoff predictions given by coaching institutes. Note: Last year, almost all coaching institutes overstated the OA %ile and people ended up expecting much more than what the actual result was. So take all these predictions with a pinch of salt, to avoid last minute shocks which many of us faced last year. Personally, I feel things should lie between 2016 and 2018 (more towards 2016). Roughly, raw score for OA 99%ile in 2016 was ~146 and in 2017 was ~162.
