1-year experience in IT industry from Aug 2015 to Aug 2016
I have spent almost 2 years now for MBA entrance exam preparations but everything is in vain. I had targeted only JBIMS initially and neglected CAT which I now realize that I made a big mistake. Now, I cant make into JB, also cant get an admission for IIMs/IITs.
I am ready to give my best this year for CAT preparation. But considering low academics and a 3-year gap (if I dedicate this year as well to CAT), will it hamper my chances of getting into top B-schools?
Please help me out with this guys, give your valuable suggestions/feedback on what should I do next.

NITIE - converted IIM K - WL 7 (OBC-NC) Since not even a single waitlist has been released by IIM K so far, does it make sense to forfeit the admission at NITIE and wait for the waitlist of K. Or should i join NITIE straightaway since joining date is 7th june? TIA

SNAP:35 percentile
XAT: 30 percentile.
I have got admission into NIBM Pune. My quant is not good. Should I take it up or try another year?

Baby IIMs vs Cat 2018
CAT2017- 94.3 (prepared for a month, full time)
10th/12th/UG - 96/89/8.4
Work ex 33 months in an MNC as design engg on payslip but managed various projects too. Salary below 6 though atm.
Might convert baby iims this time.
Interest in operations/strategy roles
If at all it comes to CAT 2018, will target NITIE/SJSOM and top 10 instis only. But the biggest concern is high work ex during next admission cycle which might result in some shortlisting issues during admissions and eventually placements too.
On the other hand, the growth of baby IIMs, nagpur and vizag, has been exponential compared to other new and baby IIMs and might remain so with mentoring from A and B still in place.

But want to make a career in marketing
