B Leaks 2 hrs · #Confession : First of all I am seeing this helpful platform being misused by some new IIMs for fake publicity purpose. It started with Ranchi putting a post that its not good for freshers and now Rohtak who had used a fake excel sheet to boast itself(Amazing part is that they only used some parameters and not all). Since I have been a part of this culture I know the truths. You can verify some facts on the website, report and others by filing an RTI. The purpose of this post is to provide aspirants with some food for thought since before joining a B School we couldn't figure out what really matters: From that excel: 1) The batch size of current batch 2016-18 was 139 and not 250. So if you have 11.7 lakhs average in 139, how can you maintain that in a double batch size. Also other IIMs had mostly a batch size of 180 students for 2016-18 batch. How can you compare with them. According to your accounting 140=180????? 2) Rohtak has this tactic of publishing placement report well before the actual completion of season. Their placement season was going on till early march. See in their report their is no mention of number of students in the batch and number of students placed or others. Its just a marketing gimmick they are following from years. 3) (Findings from placement report and friends)Aditya Birla Group???? Seriously. You hosted Ultratech and you potray ABG which goes to only topmost B schools. And Google came to the campus but did they even hire 1 person?. Fake shit. Patanjali offered 0 stipend. Does that matter??. Your bottom 50% average is 8.8 LPA (rather join a tier 2) 4) (Placement report) You added tolaram group which offer around 50 lakhs, so why your highest is only 30 lakhs.... Bogus Claims again. 5) General management roles: Leave GMR, no one else offered GM. A marketing profile from a company dosen't count in a GM role. Point 1: If these things are audited, I doubt CRISIL. Point 4: IIM A guest faculties, a big thing really?? other new IIMs have IIM A,B,C,L etc faculty on permanent roles for your record. Point 5: IIM Raipur has the best exchange program(no new IIM close), why not to acknowledge that. Atleast use publicly available data for comparison. Note to aspirants: B Schools is a place where you broadly learn how to fool people and the same tactics are being applied onto you. I wonder what these people have learnt in one year of MBA, they made it obvious that they have posted this excel. Don't be misguided by tactics aspirants. Analyze and take your own decision.

What shoukd I choose? IIM Raipur Vs IIM Kashipur.....with reasons
I will be appearing for 2018 entrance exams for B schools. As I am doing self study so I usually gets stucks many a times but fortunately somehow I have been able to find someone who can help me out with my queries. This time I have come across you guys with the same expectations. Recently, I have given my first AIMCAT mock. I have landed with 82%ile. I got really disappointed after getting the result. Although, I managed to assemble myself and made up my mind that No matter what happens I will try to learn from my mistakes and will keep improving. I am aiming for nothing less than 99%ile. The advice that I am looking from you guys is that how can I effectively analyze my Mocks so that I can get the best out of it and learn the most out of it so that I can consistently improve my score? I would really really appreciate if anyone can take out some time and explain me the approach thoroughly. I am looking for a bonus advice as well which can help me to attain my goal. Thank you. I have seen many people writing that it is growing very quickly and performing really well but going by placement reports there is not much of an improvement over the years (compared to iims like Ranchi or trichy).
