As Rohtak has now shared marks and the 2nd gen iim results should start coming in soon, please do your own research than follow the media cell propagandas of the colleges on pagalguy. Do not choose a college based on popular belief or the hype created by media cells of these colleges. I remember a couple of years back one of these colleges had done a lot of promotions and a lot of people had joined it because of the same. This year I feel trichy has been very active in the last couple of weeks. I don’t have anything against any college and trichy is a great college im sure. But DO YOUR OWN Research. Apologies before hand to all the people who will take offense.
Is it possible for someone to be rejected by 1-2 cap IIMs but converting at least one new IIM?

Is it advisable to take an year drop and prepare for cat 2018 exam or Shall I go with above any college ?

It seems Ranchi(16.5Lpa) is way ahead of Tirchy(14.xx) in placement reports. But I can see many suggestions inclined towards Tirchy. Many says Tirchy is best for finance but I can see only 15% placements in finance in summers. Those already made enough work on this, kindly suggest. I think, at the end of the day paisa and good opportunities matter when the fight is between same league IIMs.
