Guys... I have an XL HR waitlist that will almost surely be a convert going by past trends.
Profile - 87,82,71
Fresher - last year bcom
French - fluency - c1 certificate
Other extracurricular - just simple intra college level stuff
I’m intrigued by HR, but have been told that it’s better to keep my options open. Also XL HR is my best call.
Any ideas on the possible placements I could get with this profile in summers in HR and Non HR roles along with some advice in options plz

Were the placements of IIM Ranchi really better than IIM Shillong this year? Or are they just inflated ones?

I will sound a spoil sport for writing this but I have no clue where did I go wrong as to have gotten rejected in XL!?! This is an example and not the first rejection.
I am not hopeless but I am confused and disillusioned by the gdpi processes in this system. In my experience, private institutes are even worse in transparency as compared to govt. ones.
Having learnt the lessons and mistakes, I would try for an MBA abroad and advise willing people the same in future for better insurance against the erratic processes here. Forget interests, here, filling the forms of all colleges and diversifying skills is essential before even joining a study programme. I know it now.
There is one college I missed marginally last year and I trust them because of maximal transparency they adopt.
If I had been selected I would not have said this because I knew, apart from common abilities, I was trying my luck like many others and it didn't work.
Few will always get selected. But the few who get rejected remain hidden and do not reach the aspirants. Failure stories are as important as the success stories, I guess. Work hard and Good Luck!

Can somebody shed some light on XAHR's current placement scenario? Have heard about the reputation and quality having fallen post split(from ximb) and also heard that the course is on a downward spiral. The high fees makes things worse. I'm going to be financing my education through a loan and want to know if XAHR is worth the money.
