Me-(got a bit nervous) and talked bout some club.
P2-as iims we don't support any club.
Me- talked bout honesty and hardwork.
P2-got a bit angry and said to fir hum kya dishonest hain kya?
Anyway Extempore-role of iims in india.
Me-talked for a min. One of my points was about not making education a private market.
P1-came back and said but Harvard and stanford are private.
Me-But government funds them in the form of scholarships and research. (Seemed satisfied)
P2-when and Why were IIMs founded?
Me-answered when. And repeated my answer of role of iim.
P2-You talk bout honest and entrepreneurial spirit. Name an entrepreneur who is ethical and name your role model.
Me-(took 4-5 seconds) role model-Jack Ma

P3- Stepped in and grilled a bit ke narayan murthy ne apne bete ko aage kiya.
Me-Sir,I wont support nepotism.
P2-So how is indian economy doing?
Me-Sir Indian economy is doing good. We have brought down the inflation rate.
P2-what is inflation? Is good or bad?
Me-forgot to answer what is inflation but answered how inflation is good and talked bout deflation and hyperinflation. Named japan and venezuela for examples. And said agriculture gets hit by low inflation. And 60% people contributing only 13-14%. Also talked about Rbi guideline of 2-6% and ended with saying 2-4 is good.
P3-kya farak padta hain. Waisibhi 40% log unka tax bharte hain. (Talking bout 40% people paying the taxes for the other 60%)
Me-Talked bout how usa changed from an agricultural country by bringing their population out of agriculture.
P3-is it possible in india with a population of 1.3 Billion.
Me-Yes sir china has done pretty much the same through manufacturing.
P1-china main bhi 40% agriculture hain.
Anyway which other countries are growing at the pace of india and china.
Me-African countries. Like Ghana and gabon. (he seemed satisfied but gabon was wrong)
P3-So you are civil engineer,how can measure the height of a mountain with a theodolite.
Me-Sir can we use a total station.
P3-No you dont have any digital stuff.
P2-do you know what a theodolite is?
Me-yes sir it used to measure angles. @p3 Sir we can measure centre to centre distance, find the angle and then calculate the height.
P3-No you cannot reach the centre of the mountain.
Then everyone laughed a bit. I was bout to say something and p3 said time up thank you for coming.
P2 was grilling me from the start. Never gave me a chance to talk. And kept asking bout iims. Their role and what not. Which made me nervous and brought down my confidence. But the end was okay. PLEASE GIVE YOUR OPINION.

Which of the new IIMs (ie. CAP ones) are recommended for Marketing? And between that and IMT Ghaziabad, what should one choose for Marketing?
better college for opportunities and exposure. Roi not an issue

Options in my hand are SIBM[Waitlist 169],CAP,IIM-L SM
Is there any point in waiting for the results or should I start my preparations for GMAT or GRE. Need help as I am clueless and I dont want to spend my next few months with a false hope that I will convert one of the calls. Please share your opinion guys. TIA
