I have done a research on the level of academic rigor at various institutes and it surely points out to the fact that IIMs are way ahead of the others. Some private institutes too have done well while IITs are way behind when it comes to academics. Another observation is that new IIMs mentored by the older ones follow almost the same curriculum making them more rigorous than some top private institutes as well.I have only compiled the list of compulsory courses which one has to study in the first year. Have a look

So,do New IIMs,SIBM-P,IIFT etc offer strategic consultancy roles ? So that after working for 2 years ,you could move to a BCG,Mckinsey etc ?
