CAT 2017 Result will now be released on January 8, 2018. IIM Lucknow has confirmed that CAT Result 2017 will be out in the early second week of January. The media reports had suggested that CAT 2017 result could be released on January 5. With the confirmation from CAT 2017 convening IIM Lucknow that CAT 2017 result would be released in the second week of January all speculations on CAT 2017 result date have ended. CAT Result declaration trends
As announced by IIM Lucknow, the CAT exam convener this year, the CAT Results are to be declared in the second week of January 2018. However, going by the past trends of CAT result declaration and the CAT exam date during last three years, it is expected that CAT Result can be out on January 7. During the last three years, CAT exam results were declared as per following schedule:

Since CAT was conducted a few days earlier than last 2 years, for admission to MBA 2018-20 batch in IIMs, it is anticipated that the CAT results would also be declared at least one or two days before the earlier CAT result dates. Accordingly, it will not be a surprise, if CAT result is declared by the end of 1st week of January 2018, on Jan 6, 2018 instead of second week of January. IIMs have announced that CAT 2017 result will be declared in the second week of January 2018. The expected CAT 2017 Result date is January 7, 2018. The CAT result date is the most important day for the CAT aspirants who have done well in the CAT exam and on the basis of their performance have high hopes to get into one of the top IIMs. CAT 2017 exam result is expected to be declared on January 7, 2018 or in the beginning of 2nd week of January 2018. IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta will announce their shortlists immediately after CAT 2017 result declaration. Bhai log,I have like 24 subjects(6*4) in my course(some related some not),clearly I can't do all. I'm planning to do 3 completely(A to Z same as semester course) and 5 partially(by watching videos skipping some notes etc). Will this be enough?

Is the CAP correction form only for the ones who made some mistakes? Or is it for everyone to enter details of extra-curriculars? Because, earlier it had no option for entering details!
