Hi, for all those looking to calculate the Composite Score for IIM-K, please find below a method, based on all the posts in the thread. Assumptions-
CAT Scaled score - 165
XII Score - 90 %
Grad Score - 78 %
Work Ex - 18 Months
For reference, check the values for XII, Grad and Work Ex scores from this link - http://www.iimk.ac.in/academics/pgp/AdmissionsPolicyPGP20182020Batchfinal.pdf
From the tables on this link, the score components for each of XII, grad & work ex are as follows-
XII Component- 7.5
Grad Component - 6.43
Work Ex Component - 3.67
For the component that comes from the CAT, score follow this rule -
CAT Index Score = (Total Scaled Score/4) = 41.25
Composite Score = CAT Index Score + XII Component + Grad Component + Work Ex Component = 41.25 + 7.5 + 6.43 + 3.67 = 58.85
This is based on my understanding of all the conversations on this thread. Guys, feel free to correct me. If I'm wrong, I'll edit and put up a new post!!
Also feel free to post what you feel would be the expected composite cut off score.
