I believe IIMs (CAT) and XLRI (XAT) are pretty much cordial in a way, unlike IIMs and IIFT i.e. IIM L won't like to mess with student's XAT by declaring Results anyday before 7th Jan. So there is very high chance of results being declared on 8th Jan and that would also adhere to their Cute saying "Results to be "likely" declared "By" 2nd week of Jan ("Tentatively").
P.S. - Itna wait kiya hai toh ek week aur sahi :)

With this utter excitement of cat results I got reminded of a post I saw the first time I gave CAT. CAT 2015. I was naïve back then and like many of you wanted the result the very second. The post said "Result jab bhi aaye ek tufan leke aayega." True. After the CAT result, life changes. Either it gives you the much deserved push, you did not ask for, but got anyways, or it gives you the fruits of your hard work. My advice to all of you so worried about the result, "shant". Enjoy these last few days, kyunki tufan apne saath kya layega koi nahi janta, but you know one thing. Your life will never be the same ever again. Ps: Third attempt to CAT this year. I hope this tufan changes my life for better too.
