Work Ex : 18 Months (Jan 16) (8 Months exp in family business : manufacturing)
Calls : SPJIMR (ops)(reject), IIM-S, MDI, New IIMs, MDI, NITIE, IIT-D
Only hope is IIM-S, NITIE, some new IIMs. MDI GDPI was pathetic
NITIE's was very average..not much hopeful.
Hoping to work for a couple years after MBA. Inclined towards Operations / Strategy / General Managment.
Damn confused whether I should repeat and aim higher or get into any college which I convert this year. Kindly help!

Hey guys needed some opinion on here..
I'm currently in my final year of engineer(GEM)..I could not crack CAT last year and I really wish to pursue MBA from a top institute in India.I am taking a drop this year to prepare for CAT again and aim at the top 10 B schools.
My academics are pretty low..
Class X-87.4%
Class XI-72.6%
Graduation-7.06 CGPA
What CAT percentile should I be aiming at to get a call from the top 10?And what more can i do to fetch a call other than the CAT score?
Please help guys..im getting demotivated looking at other situation of other students.Thanks in advance.

Guys, which IIM would you select with these issues ? These are what I got from sources including my friends studying there.
- IIM Ranchi (Heavily Inflated placements, good for HR)
- IIM Trichy (South-North Issue, Issue 4 girls due to regressive thinking of people.
- IIM Kashipur (250 kms from Delhi, large batch size, cold climate year long)
- IIM Udaipur (Dry and hot climate, lowest placements, Many not placed)
- Just checking polls.
- IIM Raipur (Permanent campus won’t be up till 2019. Students still live in a building with ground floor= classes, upper floors hostel and mess hall. Claims are wrong as per my friend studying there.
- IIM Rohtak (Jat agitation every time. Not safe for anyone)
- Baby IIMs (Saw in newspaper that Nagpur couldn’t place even 50%. Almost similar with others)
