Congratulations to everybody in the forum who have converted your dream B-Schools and who have decided to go for CAT next year :) . I have 25 months of work experience at Cognizant in mainframes domain. I currently have converts from IFMR chennai(specialisation can be chosen in second year), IMT Nagpur (Finance), National Insurance academy, XISS Marketing, BIMTECH Retail management and waiting for Welingkar gdpi. I have interests in Marketing, Finance(not exactly sure which is major) and more interested to go in the line of business analyst(b.a) related roles. I have planned to go for mba two yrs back when i started working in cognizant in mainframes which is wanted to come out of. I am not a coding guy basically and more interested in talking about the client's business (non coding related roles) that is the best thing i liked after working for two years in Retail domain. Also i can get into the lines of B.A with a B.A certification at bangalore for 2 months with which i will get a 5.5 lpa job in B.A related role with the experience. Now i am in a dilemma looking at the loan amount of 14.4 L for ifmr or to opt out and go for job. Please enlighten with your valuable ideas and suggestions which will help me decide how to proceed further.
P.S- Sorry for the long post.
