They say that an MBA degree can change your life. Well, I can't comment on that cause right now i am just an aspirant looking for an oppurtunity to study in a decent B-School. What I can say is that just the whole experience of preparing and appearing for various MBA entrance examinations and their interviews has been truly enriching.
A year back, I started reading newspapers so as to improve my Reading and Comprehension skills. Today reading has become a habit of mine. I am reading books from genres as diverse as Science and Spirituality. To improve my speed in QUANT and DI-LR section, I consciously started doing calculations in my mind. Now,when I calculate the total bill amount of the goods purchased by customers (at my father's shop) faster than my father who uses a calculator, the expression on his face is priceless(Though every now and then He points out how i have made mistake in decimal calculations!)
WAT at the later stages forced me to explore my writing skills which i believe is very terrible(As you can also judge from this post of mine!). Filling forms like SOP forced me to think about questions like 'Why MBA?',' What do I want from life?','What are my short term and long term goals?'(Yes,I was like most of you. Preparing for CAT without thinking about WHY MBA?!).
Throughout the whole process including Cat Classes at IMS, Interviews at various institutes, Various forums on Whatsapp,FB,PagalGuy, I got an oppurtunity to interact with various peers of mine .It was very fruitful to exchange our views on a variety of topics.
This whole process has been a journey inwards and I feel like that I am a better person than I was about a year ago(Hey! Didn't i say that I am reading books from the genre of Spirituality?!).
I hope your experience was something similar to mine.
Please share your views(More importantly kindly point out the grammatical mistakes in this post so that I can work on it!)
Will 4+ years of work experience hinder our chances of getting into a good college? If not, which all colleges can I target for next year? Please provide me your thoughts..
Hey puys.,at what time usually people give resignation notice in their companies...
I have 2 months notice period
And most of the results would be coming in may i guess (new iims,,,,IIT'ss)
I don't intent to give notice period before i am sure i am getting a good college.
So how do we proceed in this case ??
