I needed a little advice from you guys. I have converted IIMI and am currently waitlisted at IIMA (WL11) and IIMC (WL21). I am expecting IIMC to convert in subsequent lists.
Edit: Also waitlisted at IIML at Rank 525 & Open Rank 570
Although this may feel a bit redundant, since the payment deadline for IIMI is coming up soon, I'm wondering whether to pay the amount to have a sure-shot seat or let it pass and wait for one of IIMA/IIMC to convert.Β
I have job offer letter and and latest salary slips with me but experience letter is yet to come in 40 days. what are the other things that i can do or show to convience the interview pannel of CAT?
and comapny is not giving anything in writing about this
Hey
Need you guys to chip in and give your honest opinions.
This is where I stand rn:
95/94.8/76 Commerce Fresher
Converts: IIM I
WL: IIM C(99), IIM L(MR558, practically a reject)
Rejects: FMS, K, S, XLRI BM
I'm in a bad place mentally since I was expecting a couple of more converts but things didn't go as planned. Chances of converting C are slim. So, my only remaining option is I.
TBH, I believe I can do better than IIMI and would be compromising shall I accept the offer. Also, there is that whole MBA from home scenario going on. This puts a huge question mark on my decision to select I.
On the other hand, if I take a drop, things may or may not pan out in similar fashion as they did this year. There is also the problem of going through the uncertain process of interview all over again. But I might manage to get a some workex during this time.
While I know the final decision shall be my own, I would love to hear what you guys have to say.
Pic for attention
Hello fellow guys. I am in a little dilemma and want assistance from those of you willing to provide. I am a chemical engineer with 14 months of work ex in animal feed manufacturing industry. I am currently hoping to convert CAP IIMs and the decision to take now is what stream to opt for. I have been very much intrigued by Business Analytics.
But I am having second thoughts that would my profile as chemical engineer hinder my chances at placements or career wise in business analytics. Would be great if any of the current MBA students shed some light on this. Also would doing LinkedIn course on Business Analytics help boost my profile? I am doing a free course from Edx but it won't provide certificate. Someone suggested to me that LinkedIn one month trial will give me completion certificate.
Which one seems like a better option? (I have experience in Product Management and would like to continue in that field, IIM L PGP-Sustainable Management has general management placements too) Comments would be appreciated.
With a direct reject from FMS which was bound to happen courtesy my relatively low percentile ( 99.57) I am getting really anxious. I have been waitlisted at 16 ( general category) in IIM Shillong. Will I be able to convert it? I am getting really anxious. Please mark and comment genuinely. Thanks for help.
I know it's not an informative list,. But here in PG lots of people are doing business.
So my humble request to everyone.

Just wanted to know if it's realistically possible to get a call from A & B with less than 70% in graduation for GEM?Β
I saw IIM-A brochure where 82% was the minimum grad score in Engineering, who were considered for the calls this year. B is also considered to have notoriously high weightage for grad score (20%).
This is ofc for CAT'21 and considering one has a high enough score in other parameters.
